A couple of good deals for you.....

You can go here and print a $1.00 off Quaker Oats Instant oatmeal. The nice thing it will let you print more than 2. Just keep hitting your back button and than refresh.

Here is a $1.00 off coupon for Dreamfields pasta.

Walgreen's has the Garnier Shampoo on clearance right now and there is a $2.00 off coupon in the January ES book, there are several $1.00 coupons in past inserts, pair the two together and you will get free shampoo. You will also get overage so be sure and buy something to make up for the overage. Maybe a January FAR item?

If you can find any of the Robitussin/Dimetapp the extra RR is good through tomorrow.

Another update on the RR deal at Walgreen's....

Mercedes with CommonSenseWithMoney called the Catalina company and this is a legitimate deal that will take place until the 31st. Please check out her post explaining how this is happening.

Money maker at Walgreen's (update on RR wording)

there is a overlap in Robitussin RR's and you can actually make an extra $10.00 in RR's by doing the Robitussin/Dimetapp deal!

This has been mentioned on several sites and I confirmed that it is working in Tulsa tonight!

Here is the deal:

Buy 5 Robitussin/Dimetapp products on sale for $4.00 each. Use $2.00 off coupons available here and here. Spend $10.00 plus tax and get back a $10.00 RR and 2 (bonus) $5.00 RR's.

I don't know how long this will be printing out the extra 2 RR's so hurry to your closest Walgreen's. You can print 2 coupons per product per computer.

On a side note: Drug Warehouse has Bounty Basic paper towels on sale for $.59 cents and there were some $.25 cent off coupons in the paper today.

Just an fyi...I changed the wording on this post because it is not a glitch in the RR system it is an overlap on Robitussin RR's. I don't want anyone to feel like they are cheating the store by accepting these.

Walgreen's.....

has 75% off all Christmas decorations and candy! Stock up if you need anything. Here are the deals for Walgreen's this week. Thanks to Mercedes over at CommonSenseWithMoney.

I went to Aldi's today and spent just under $40.00. Their fruit seemed a little high but we needed oranges and grapes for our smoothies. They had some great mark downs on their meat. Their Christmas stuff was also marked down.

Did anyone take part in any after Christmas sales?

VERY IMPORTANT INFO RE: REBATES.....

Please read this if you have recently submitted a rebate.

I just cashed my $8.00 rebate from Just for Men so I am going to research it some more and see if I am going to have a problem. I am waiting on an Excedrin rebate.

Week in review...

Just fyi, there will only be 1 insert in Sunday's paper. It is from P&G, the Oklahoman would be your best bet. I went to Walgreen's yesterday and got M&M's really cheap! They have all their Christmas candy 50% off and there is a $1.00 off 2ES coupon. I got 2 bags for $2.00. I may try to go back tomorrow and see if there's any left.

CVS last week was a bust. I went in Saturday night to scope out the store and familiarize myself with the lay out, went back Sunday and everything was sold out. Not being familiar with the area Hubby was not going to drive around looking for a CVS. Oh well, I guess I will have to wait for ours to open. If you haven't got your CVS care card yet now would be a good time. You can sign up here.

I need to do a big shopping trip this week before a lot of my coupons expire. If I come across any super deals I will let you know.

Mercedes at CommonSensewithMoney put together the deals for Walgreen's. It is a very slow week.

If you are going to take advantage of the free photo you need to use this code: FREEGIFT not the other one in my previous post.

We are headed to Dallas for the weekend and that means I get to shop CVS!! They are having an awesome sale tomorrow and Monday. Hopefully Monday evening when I get home I will have a picture.

Have a blessed weekend!

New coupons....

I've added a couple of coupons for Yoplait yogurt and Progresso Soup. The soup is on sale at Walgreen's this week.

Just an FYI, there will not be any ad inserts in this Sunday's paper.

Tuesday, December 16, 2008

Restaurant.com new code.....

Go here to get a $25.00 gift certificate for $2.00. Use code SANTA for a 80% discount. These are good any where in the US and are good for 1 year.

These would make great Christmas presents.

Walgreen's deals for this week....

Mercedes over at Common Sense with Money posted these deals for Walgreen's. Not a lot going on this week.

I did not do any grocery shopping other than picking up some milk. We will be gone some over the holidays so we are using up what we have at home.

I received an email for a new grocery comparison site that is being tested in the Tulsa market. You can check it out here. Watch the short video on how it can help you save money. If you decide to join please use Wendy's invitation code WY74.

Amazon is having a great sale on toys and it's not to late to buy before Christmas.

Anyone get any good deals this week?

New mid-week sales at Walgreen's....

starting today. You can check out some scenario's here.

Be sure and check out Common Sense with Money for a fun giveaway.

Tuesday, December 9, 2008

Redbox movie rental...

Have you seen that big red box right inside the Wal-Mart doors? You can rent movies for $1.00 a day but the best part is the free codes that allow you to rent them for free!

We rented 2 movies Sunday afternoon and used the same code twice but used two different debit cards. It's really easy. Just return them by 9:00 pm the following evening or they charge you.

Here is a free code to get you started. It is good for this Sunday the 14th.

Thanks to Denise at The Centsible Sawyer for the codes, be sure and check out her blog here.

Another great week at Walgreen's....

Check out the details on MoneySavingMom. They will have another mid week ad that will earn you $5.00 in RR when you spend $25.00. Remember you can use coupons to bring down that total.

I was able to get 2 Oklahomans at QT today! Looks to be several different coupons than what is in the Tulsa World.

Target has new printable coupons listed on their site here. You can stack a mc for Totino's pizza rolls with the Target coupon and get them really cheap.

Friday, December 5, 2008

Great deals at Walgreen's right now....

I wasn't going to go to Walgreen's this week but after they came out with this new mid week sales flyer I can't not go.

The first deal is spend $25.00 after tax and receive a $5.00 RR, the best part is you can use coupons after you reach $25.00 to bring down your total OOP.

You can check out lots of great scenarios here and a couple of easy ones here.

Thanks to HCW and Mercedes for posting the great deals.

My Aldi's shopping trip....

I have really been thinking about our grocery budget lately and am trying to seriously cut back. I like the idea of a $40.00 a week budget that MoneySavingMom often shares so I am going to try the same.

Here is what I got at Aldi's tonight....

3 loaves of split top wheat bread $.60 a piece
3 loaves of 100% wheat bread $.85 a piece
2 packages of hot dog buns $.45 a piece
2 packages of hamburger buns $.45 a piece
2 packages of organic chips $1.69 a piece
1 package all beef hot dogs $1.19
2% milk $3.35
3 packages of pork chops less than $4.00 a piece
3 packages of hamburger less than $4.00 a piece
Candy canes $1.49

Grand total $39.46

I will freeze all the bread and get several meals out of the pork chops and hamburgers. Mike killed a nice deer last week so that will really help with the meat budget.

How are you doing? Have you got any great deals lately?

Target deals this week....

Gillette Fusion razors are on sale for $7.99, use the $4.00 off coupon in Sunday's paper, buy 2 and get a $5.00 gift card. Two razors for $2.98. If you have any of the Venus coupons from VocalPoint left you can do the sale deal. Just remember that you have to buy 2.

You can get free batteries by using this coupon. Look for the Rayovac batteries in or around the Dollar Spot.

Shopping bargains....

so how did everyone do this weekend? My mother in law and I went out Friday and got some really good deals. It was so nice to pay cash for everything and come in under budget. I have about 3 more gifts to get and I am done!

There is a $5.00 off $20.00 coupon at Walgreen's for Monday and Tuesday, and here are the best deals for Walgreen's this week.

Tomorrow's paper is supposed to have a great Procter & Gamble coupon insert so be sure and pick up extra papers if you can. The Oklahoman would be your best bet.

We are out of town until tomorrow night so I won't be able to get my paper and go through the deals until Monday.

Let me know what bargains you come home with.

My money making trip to Walgreen's.....

Here is what Walgreen's paid me to take out of their store today. After the 2 rebates I will send in I make $4.08. Not to shabby!

Here is what I did: Venus Razor $9.49-$4.00 mc = $5.49 plus I got back a $6.00 RR. On the package is a rebate for the full purchase price so I will get back $9.49.

Second trip:

3 bounty basic paper towels $1.59 x 3 = $4.77-$2.10 Wags 7 day coupon - 3 $.25 mc = $1.92 for 3 rolls or $.64 cents a piece

2 Werthers chocolates 2 for $2.29 -2 $1.00 mc - $1.00 Dec ES = .$71 cents overage

4 Hunts tomato sauce $.99 x 4 = $3.96 - 2 $.40 mc - $2.80 Wags 7 day = $.36 cents or $.09 cents a piece

3 Wags Ibuprofen on sale buy 1 get 2 free $4.99 - $.50 cents on my W card (we needed these for our sore muscles from working out. : )

2 Excedrin 2 for $4.49 - 2 $2.00 mc = $.49 cents for 2 this has a rebate for the full purchase price so I will get back $4.49

2 Sure deoderant $1.99 - 2 $1.00 mc - $1.50 Dec ES = $.51 cents overage a piece

Used my $6.00 RR so before taxes I paid oop $4.72

I have 5 more Venus razor coupons left so if I can find more I plan to stock up.

Update on The Oklahoman newspaper....

my QT did not have the Oklahoman this morning so I asked about it. My QT in Bixby said they would have them again next week. He said they were not going to carry them anymore but had to many requests for them so someone else is going to pick them up and start delivering them next week.

If your QT doesn't carry them, ask! Remember you can pick up the Oklahoman at book stores.

Walgreen's deals this week...

look to be better than previous weeks. If you haven't signed up for VocalPoint yet be sure to do so here. They send some great coupons and it's free. You can print a $1.00 off Sure deodorant coupon here.

Check out MSM for all the deals this week. I hope to stock up on the Venus razors. Here is a rebate that you can submit for the Venus razor, this really sweetens the deal!

I will post my finding when I get home tomorrow.

Lots to share.....

there is great news for all you Target shoppers. Check out this post! Target is going to price match Wal-Mart during the holidays. Hold onto those Wal-Mart ads.

Some deals I found at Wal-Mart today, they had their Glade scented oil candle refill packs rolled back to $2.00. There are several coupons out there for these. They also had their Glade holiday candles rolled back to $2.00, again there are several coupons out there from past newspapers.

Walgreen's has their Red Baron pizza on sale till Saturday for $1.99 and Angel Soft 4packs of toilet paper for $.99, these are not advertised in their sales ad or in the store but they should ring up correctly.

Walgreen's also has their Glade scented oil candles on clearance for $3.59, I had several $2.00 off coupons but there are also some b1g1 coupons available here. These would make great Christmas gifts especially if you add the refills that Walmart has marked down.

I did the Suave deal at Walgreens today, after coupons and RR I got 4 large Suave shampoo's for $.96.

I went to Target and got Beggin' Strips dog treats for $.01 a piece. You can print a $2.00 off coupon here, they are on sale for $2.01 right now.

Anyone care to share any deals they got this week?

Refundcents...

I mentioned this site to several of you before. It is a wealth of information and very worth the money if you have it to spare. You can get a 3 month online only subscription for $4.00 or a 3 month online + publication subscription for only $8.00.

She lists all the Walgreen's deals every week, and so much more. If you decide to check it out please use this link so that I get credit for sending you over to that site. I would really appreciate it!

My Walgreen's trip...

I got all of this for $8.73. They had some great clearance buys.

I got 2 OU shirts for my nephew for Christmas for $.50 a piece, 4 dog bones for $.25 a piece, and a new headset for my cordless phone for $.25.

The All detergent was on sale 2/$8.00, I used two $1.00 off coupons and also got a $1.00 RR.

I used the $7.00 RR that I got from the Touch of Gray to help pay for the rest of my stuff.

Monday, November 17, 2008

ToysRus coupon....

Here is a coupon for 15% off a single toy purchase. Match this with there sales ad this week for a great deal.

Sunday, November 16, 2008

Walgreen's deals...

Not a whole lot going on at Walgreen's this week. It will probably be pretty slow until after Christmas. Here are a couple of deals that I will be taking advantage of.

The Deerfield cheese is 2/3.00, I will use the $7.00 RR I get from the Men's Touch of Gray. You can send in a MIR for the purchase price on the Touch of Gray and use a $2.00 off coupon found here. 4 packages of cheese for a free product is a good deal.

Skippy Peanut Butter is on sale 2/$3.00 with a $1/1 manu. coupon from the 10/5 Redplum.

I mentioned thecouponclippers at the meeting Tuesday night but she lists several other sites. These are great sites to keep in mind if your really looking to stock up on something or some place has a great sale.

A lot of the time they will carry coupons that we don't get in our newspapers.

The famous $5.00 off $20.00 coupon....

is available tomorrow and Saturday! You can access it right now by using the coupons.com sidebar I have to the right. It will be posted later on the Walgreen's website or if you've signed up to receive their emails you will get it later today.

This is a great way to save money if you have a large purchase to make. Remember a lot of baking supplies are on sale this week it would be a great time to stock up.

Your total has to be $20.00 after all coupons and tax so the minimum you could spend is $15.00.

Be sure to check out HotCouponWorld later today I'm sure they will have lots of different scenarios posted.

My Walgreen's trip...

I went to two different Walgreen's tonight to stock up on all the baking goods they had on sale. I haven't found the $.99 pumpkin yet but I will look more tomorrow.

My total before coupons was $61.47, my total oop was $29.49. I saved $31.98, just over half of what I actually paid. Most of the coupons I used were out of the Walgreen's ad.

Sunday, November 9, 2008

Cheap Baker's Dipping Chocolate...

at Walgreen's. I found some $1.00 off coupons at Country Mart and the dipping chocolate is on sale this week for $1.99. Be sure and pick some up for your holiday baking!

Country Mart had several coupons to help you save on your baked goods.

Have you got your W card yet?

Walgreen's has a W card that you can get in the pharmacy for $20.00. It's part of their prescription savings plan but you can use it on any Walgreen's product in the store.

Any time you visit Walgreen's and purchase one of their products you get 10% back on your W card. This includes Walgreen's gift cards! To get the most out of this card, walk into the store, purchase a Walgreen's gift card for the amount you will be purchasing that trip, scan your W card and 10% automatically goes back onto your W card.

Go ahead and make your purchases, check out, and use your W card and your Walgreen's gift card. You can still use your Walgreen's gift card that you have filled for making those Rebate purchases!

The nice thing about the W card is that the money goes on your card instantly. If you have any questions leave a comment and I will try to answer it for you.

Holiday Gift pak...

Follow this link and be one of the first 20,000 to order and receive a Ziploc Holiday Gift pak from Right @ Home.

I wanted to give you the opportunity to check it out for yourself and then decide if you want to join.

I ordered 3 to Up the Creek Seafood and Steaks for $6.00. You print them from your computer so there's no shipping charge. There good for 1 year so if your planning a trip you can buy them now at this awesome price and use them later.

They would make great Christmas presents if you have family that lives out of state. Print the certificate and send it in there Christmas card.

Deals for the week of 10/13.....

I have a super busy week and might be able to squeeze in one trip to Walgreen's so be sure to check out Moneysavingmom for all the latest and greatest deals. Here are the deals she has posted for Walgreen's this week.

If I come across any super fantastic deals I will try to find the time to post.

Free chocolate at Walgreen's.....

Woo Hoo....check out Moneysavingmom's post for all the details. Like she says these would make great Christmas gifts.

Some great printable coupons...

from SC Johnson. You do have to sign up but these are some high value coupons.

Oprah and the coupon mom....

Did you catch Oprah last night? She had on several families and what they are doing to cut costs. One of the mom's on there was Stephanie Nelson from Couponmom.com. This site has a ton of information on it including two free e-books on how to slash your grocery bill in half.

She also lists grocery stores by states and matches up coupons and sales. Unfortunately there aren't any Oklahoma stores listed but she does match up Walgreen's, Walmart, and Target.

Watching the show last night really convicted me to slash my grocery bill even more and see where we can cut our budget.

Do you have any money saving tips you would like to share? Leave them in the comment section.

Free toothpaste at Walgreen's

In the 9/28 Proctor & Gamble insert was a coupon for $1.00 off Crest toothpaste. There is also a $1.00 off in the October EasySaver book. It is on sale this week for $1.99 so it ends up free. I would do a small filler with this just to make sure the register doesn't beep. I had to use the ES coupon first and then the mc.

I was able to get 3 tubes and each tube had a free travel size with it. I did this in one transaction and the register took off a total of $3.00 for the ES coupon.

Restocked.....

Boy does that feel good! I made a trip to Aldi's and stocked up on canned goods for about $25.00, ran over to Walgreens and stocked up on toilet paper and very cheap Glade wisp candles. I also picked up some Progresso soup. It is on sale 4 for $5.00 and I had 2 $.50 coupons so I got 4 cans for $4.00. With coupons and RR's I spent less than $7.00 oop.

My last stop was Walmart. I don't advise shopping at Walmart on a Monday. They were out of a lot of things and had only begun restocking their shelves. I did manage to get most of my items, and save $15.00 with coupons.

I am looking into a deal for free toothpaste at Walgreens but want to make sure we got the right coupons, as soon as I verify it I will post the details.

Monday, October 6, 2008

My Walgreens deals.......

I started out with $4.50 in RR's and did 4 transactions. I have more shopping to do but I ran out of time tonight.

1st transaction:

Fusion razor $8.99 (none for $5.99 at my store) - $4.00 mc
Hershey candy bar 2/$1.00
used $4.50 RR

Total OOP $2.39 on gift card received $4.00 RR

2nd transaction:

Oral B toothbrush $4.49 - $.75 mc = $3.74
Puff Kleenex $1.79 x 3 - $2.70 IVC - $.25 mc x3 = $1.92
Used $4.00 RR

Total OOP $2.56 on gift card received $4.49 RR

3rd transaction:

Noticeables Kit $6.99 x 3 - $5.00 mc x 3 = $5.97
Febreeze Air $2.49 - .50 mc = $1.99
Whoppers (for hubby) $1.49
Used $4.50 RR

Total OOP $7.20 used gift card received $5.00 RR

4th Transaction:

Softsoap 3.49 x 3 - $1.00 mc $7.47
used $5.00 RR

Total oop $3.41 used gift card

I spent a total of $15.56 using my gift card so no actual OOP, $4.47 was tax and I still have $14.00 in RR's to use. So minus tax and RR's I still have left I made just under $3.00.

I will post what I plan on doing with the rest of my RR's tomorrow.

Walgreen deals for the week.....

I copied this from the Moneysavingmom website. If you have any questions please let me know. Be sure and check out Moneysavingmom daily, she lists some great promotions! You can access her website directly from mine, just look for the link on the right.

List of printables....

Check out this list of printables. There are a lot of good coupons here.

Check out this Target blog....

This site matches up all coupons for Target with manufactures coupons. She also talks about upcoming Christmas deals.

Monday, September 22, 2008

A couple of freebies at Walgreens....

Buy 2 Reach Ultra clean dental products for $5.00 get a $5.00 RR. There was a coupon in the paper awhile back so a better deal if you have the coupon.

Take that $5.00 RR and buy the Crest mouthwash for $4.99, you will need a small filler to get over the $5.00 mark. You will receive a $5.00 RR for the mouthwash.

The best part is that these will roll so you can do this over and over as stock allows and only pay $5.00 plus your small filler for both products. A great way to stock up on toothbrushes, dental floss, and mouthwash.

My shopping trip for the night...

I got four more boxes of cereal at Target for $4.00 and received a $5.00 gift card.

I had a really good trip to Walgreen's, they ended up having several clearance items that I did not plan on buying so it threw my scenario off a bit but I still ended up with a great trip.

Here's what I got:

FAR items:

Crest toothpaste $3.79 - .75 coupon
Revlon nail color $4.79
Excedrin $3.99
Lypsil $1.99
Chemistry $7.99

Clearance items:

4 blankets $2.49 a piece
2 Flavor ice .25 a piece
2 Freeze bars .50 a piece

Regular items:

Precision meter $9.99 - $9.99 coupon FREE!
4 Diet cokes $12.00 (for my sweet hubby who took me shopping)
4 cans of OUST .99 a piece - 2 bogo and 2 $1.00 off and ES (made money on these)
2 Glade room fresheners $2.99 a piece - 2 $1.50 and ES
2 Sunsilk hair spray B1get1free $4.29 - 2 $1.50

RR item:

Crest mouthwash $4.49 received $4.50 RR

My total before coupons was $81.00. If I would have known I was going to spend this much I would have done 2 transactions and used 2 $10.00/$40.00 coupons but it worked out ok because my total oop was only $22.88!

I used $21.00 in RR and still have $14.50 in RR's left. Plus I will get back $22.55 plus 10% on my gift card. My receipt says I saved $177.33!

I want to get the Nivea for men but they were out so I will pick that up and get some cheap Glade plug-ins this next week. I have included a picture of everything but the pop. It's all ready in the fridge. : )

I got my wish....

Not a $5/$20 but a $10/$40! I can buy all the FAR items and the rest of the stuff I had planned and pay with at least 1 RR. When I get my scenario finalized I will post it here.

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

So what are the chances....

that Walgreen's will come out with a $5/$20 coupon this Friday? I have $30 in RR's and a great scenerio to get my FAR items. Guess I will wait and see. I did the Robitussin deal twice for 2 $10.00 RR's and the SC Johnson deal once for another $10.00 in RR's.

If you need new floaties or anything for the pool be sure and check out the clearance section, they had some great prices on Summer stuff. A lot of baby stuff to.

I'm off to Target tomorrow to stock up on Kashi....

Monday, September 8, 2008

Great deal on Kashi cereal....

Target is running a deal on Kashi cereal this week. Buy 4 boxes get a $5.00 Target gift card. Here's the best deal:

2 boxes Kashi (try Vive)and use 2 of these coupons, fill out survey for coupons
2 boxes GOLean cruch and use 2 of these coupons

spend $5.00 and get $5.00 gift card.

Free cereal!!

If you haven't joined VocalPoint yet, be sure and sign up. They send great coupons.

Coupon terminology....

Are you confused by the RR's and the ESR's. So was I, hopefully this will help you out.

IP = Internet coupon (any coupon printed off the Internet, black/white or color)
MC = Manufacturer coupon (any coupon cut out of the paper/magazine)
ES = Easy Saver coupon (Walgreen coupon found in there Easy Saver book put out at the beginning of every month, found in the front of the store)
FAR = Free after rebate (Walgreen rebate program found in same Easy Saver book)
7 day = 7 day coupon found in the Walgreen ad that comes out in Sunday's Paper
RR = Register Reward (Catalina that prints out at Walgreen if you buy a certain product)

There are also peelies, tear pads, hang tags and in store coupons that can be found at most stores, these are considered Manufacturer coupons.

Now how do these all work together. Wal-Mart accepts all IP coupons and MC coupons as long as they are not expired. If you have more than $50.00 in coupons at one time a manager will have to approve the transaction. You can also price match at Wal-Mart. Take your ads with you and use it to your advantage.

Most grocery stores will accept IP and MC coupons also. Country Mart in Bixby will NOT accept IP coupons but will accept MC coupons.

Target accepts IP, MC and Target in store coupons. Target in store coupons and MC coupons can be "stacked" which means you can use both at the same time for the same item. You can print these off the Target website or go to the Target store and print them there. You can print them the same place you would print a baby or bridal registry. Use their ink and paper, save yours. You can print more than one and use as many as you want.

Onto Walgreen's, here you can "stack" a ES with a MC, or a 7 day with a MC(by this I mean Manufacture or Internet coupon) You do not need to remove the 7 day from the ad or the ES from the book. These are store coupons and they do not need them to be reimbursed. Just hand it to the cashier and point to the one you are using.

Register Rewards (RR's) are printed from the Catalina machine and can be used on your NEXT purchase. They can also be used with all other coupons. The thing with Walgreen's is that you need to make sure you have as many items as you do coupons, this includes ALL coupons that you will be using. Buy a cheap $.10 filler if you need to, this will keep the register from beeping at you.

Free after rebate items are found toward the center of the Easy Saver book, these are items that Walgreen's will reimburse you for and you can use coupons/RR to obtain these items. You can now file your rebates online and have it loaded onto a Walgreen's gift card. You want to do this because Walgreen's gives you an additional 10% for your FAR items. Then every month you can have this card reloaded.

This is a lot to take in and it does take some time but it is so worth it. I have many, many items that I have got for free or very cheap because I took the time to do a little research. There are several great blogs dedicated to this and lots of places to print coupons, which you can do directly from this blog. If you have any questions at all please let me know. I want you to get the most for your money.

Some great deals this week....

I saved $63.00 at Wal-Mart this week. I hadn't been grocery shopping in about 3 weeks so this was a great savings. My bill before coupons was $166.00 and I brought it down to $103.00. Gotta love coupons. My fridge is now stocked and the cabinets are filled again.

I noticed MSM had some new printable coupons on her site today, and be sure to check out couponloop.com for a whole list of printables.

Walgreen's has a couple of money making deals this week. Buy 3 Robitussin get $10.00 in RR. You can go here and print a coupon for $3.00 off. So spend $3.00 plus tax for 3 Robitussin and make $7.00.

If you have the latest copy of the All You magazine (and you should) there is a coupon for $3.00 off Visine, use this and the $2.00 off ESR coupon for free Visine.

Another deal is the SC Johnson products. There are several coupons out for these cleaning products. Buy 7, get $10.00 in RR. You can then take your RR's and roll them into your FAR items for September. If you need any help with a particular deal please email me and let me know.

I've had some questions about all the different coupon terminology like RR and FAR so I will do a separate post explaining all the different coupons.

I will be going to Walgreen's tonight so I will update you tomorrow.

Thursday, September 4, 2008

Please be patient....

I'm going to make some changes to my blog to make it more user friendly. I haven't been shopping at all this week! I hope to have some great deals posted tomorrow.

My All You magazine had a $10.00 survey in it as well.

So after I get back my $10.00 and count my $5.50 in RR I spent $17.88 plus tax. I don't count tax on my total OOP because I want you to see what the actual total is after coupons. My husband was very proud and couldn't believe how well I did. I spent maybe an hour planning this all out and gathering all my coupons but if I hadn't I would have spent almost $80.00!

I will post some of the deals I see for this week in another post.

Not much in the way of sales...

This week is another slow week for sales. There are a couple of good deals to be had. If you have the $2.00 off Suave shampoo coupon from a few weeks ago you can can get 3 bottles for .67 cents at Target. That's cheaper than Wal-Mart.

Ban deoderant is on sale at Walgreens and there are $1.00 off coupons in this months issue of the All You magazine. Cheerios are on sale for $1.99 and you can print $1.00 off coupons here making it .99 cents a box.

Let me know what great deals you find this week.

New deals this week.....

No good Walgreen deals for me this weekend. My Wag's was cleaned out of diapers before I could get there. There were a couple of deals I could have done but the cashier that was on duty is not coupon friendly so I didn't mess with them. Oh well, didn't really NEED anything anyway.

Here are a few deals for this week:

Ultra Tuf trash bags are on sale BOGO and are a ESR for August. So buy two get $5.00 back. No coupon needed.

Purina pet food is on sale for $3.99, you can go here for a $4.00 off coupon. Just fill out the survery, it's for a good cause.

If you have the $2.00 off Olay coupons that were in the 7/6 paper you can get a good buy on bodywash and receive a Register Reward. You can also order these and the Infusium 23 coupons at couponclippers. This is a great site for ordering extra coupons. If you want more info on how that works just let me know.

If you like chocolate there is a really sweet deal on Hershey Bliss. You can find out the details here.

If I see anything else I will post later in the week. Be sure and check out MoneySavingMom daily. She posts some great buys.

If you get any good deals this week let me know.

Friday, July 25, 2008

Some great deals on the MSM website....

She has a link for a free ebook for weary Homeschool mom's, $5 off $5 at Borders and a money making offer on scrubbing bubbles.

Check it out here.

Will be heading to Walgreens soon, can't wait to post all my savings.

Walgreen deals this weekend.....

Be sure and check out all the buzz about the great Walgreen deals this weekend! The new EasySaver book is available to print on line and there are quite a few items that you can "double dip" on. Meaning you can use July and August ES coupons. Combined with manu. coupons you can get some gread deals this weekend.

Check it out here.

There's a lot of talk about the diaper deal but keep looking thru the thread to find other deals.

Be sure and let me know how you do! Happy shopping!

My Wag's trip last night....

All in all a pretty good trip. I got 5 rolls of Reynolds wrap for .34 cents a piece using the Wag's 7 day coupon and the .55 cent manu. coupon.

I got the Mitchum deodorant free using the Wag's 7 day and a $2.00 catalina that printed when I bought some deodorant last week. I got another $1.00 catalina last night and I have a .75 cent manu. coupon so will go back and get some .24 cent deodorant. It's been reported that a new catalina prints everytime you buy the Mitchum so depending on how many manu. coupons you have you can stock up on deodorant.

I got the Pilot G2 Gel ink pen and the markers which I will submit with my ESR so those will end up being free. Bought a few .05 cent school supplies but we really didn't need much.

I had a Dixie catalina for $3.00 of two and those are on sale this week 2/$3.79 so I spent .79 cents on those. I am well stocked with paper plates and bowls.

I need to make at least one more trip for deodorant and razors. The Bic Comfort 3 disposable razors are on sale for $2.99 and I have a couple of $2.00 off coupons.

There's an amazing diaper deal going on this weekend. Even if your past the diaper stage it might be worth it to buy and donate. Check it out here.

I'm going to go through the new grocery ads tonight and see if I can come up with some deals. I will let you know.....

Tuesday, July 22, 2008

Adding new features...

I've added some direct links to my three favorite websites. You can go directly to their website from my page.

Check out the scrubbing bubbles website for some great cleaning coupons. The scrubbing bubbles action scrubber starter kit will be a money maker in August. There will be a $1.50 rebate in the box and it will be an Easy Saver Rebate (ESR) in August at Walgreens. If you do both make a copy of your receipt for the Walgreens ESR before you mail in your orginal.

The deals are starting to pick up again so I will be posting more. I will also post details of any deals that I buy. I am making a run to Walgreens tonight, will post details when I get home.

Sunday, May 4, 2008

Life is back to normal....

whatever that is! Sorry I have not posted any updates lately. Hopefully I can get back into the habit of posting.

Food Pyramid has a $10.00 off $50.00 purchase for Saturday, April 19th. It is in their sales ad that came in the mail today. Use this coupon first and then any additional coupons you might have. Remeber FP doubles coupons up to .50 cents. They had some pretty good bargins listed.

Be sure to check out moneysavingmom.com for more great ideas and links to coupons.

Not a whole lot going on at Walgreens this week. I think the only thing I may take advantage of this week is the Suave shampoo.

I will let you know if I find any other great bargins this week.

I didn't plan on running to Wal-Mart tonight but I had coupons burning a hole in my pocket. My total before coupons was $25.17, I paid OOP 6.57, plus tax.

The kids can't wait for me to bake a cake, it ought to go well with all the half price Easter candy I bought.

Walgreens....

Made my weekly run to Walgreen's tonight. I did two transactions because I had 2 $5.00 RR's thanks to the Venus Embrace deal.

First transaction was $20.53 before coupons, I paid OOP $4.03 plus tax

Second transaction was $15.86 before coupons, I paid OOP $4.86 plus tax

New blog...

Ok, I'm going to try blogging and keep you updated on great coupons and specials. I hope by doing this that you will only have to search one place and will take advantage of these great offers.

Please be patient with me as I am learning this blogging thing. I will try to post links to coupons or websites as I get more familiar with the layout of things.

God has really blessed me with what I have been learning and I want to share that with others. Please feel free to share this site with others.
